There are several types’ saddles available in the market. Every saddle has some specific purpose and utility. It is required for proper horse riding. Along with a proper saddle, good saddle accessories are is also required such as stirrups. So, before purchasing it is advised to first try on your horse. Some of the saddles are –

Trail Saddle –These saddles is generally designed to accommodate maximum comfort level to the rider.

Barrel Saddle –The Barrel Saddle is the light weight saddle that has a comfortable seat and holds the rider in a much secured way so that they do not fall of.

Endurance Saddle–The saddle are good for long distance travelling at a great speed. It spreads the rider’s weight evenly all over the horse’s back and decreases the pressure at a particular spot on the horse.

Saddle accessories and products

Along with the saddle other saddle accessories are also required for good and comfortable riding. Everything along with the saddle should be in proper condition so that you won’t face any problem while riding and get injured. Saddle accessories include saddle bags, saddle covers, reins, breast collars etc.

The stirrups are the light ring or frame which holds the riders foot and it is attached to the saddle by the strap generally known as stirrup leather. These are generally paired together and act as the support to the riders while riding.

The girths are the strap which encircles the horse’s body to ensure and secure the saddle on its back. The girths should be of better quality so that it can hold the saddle in proper position and they should be durable also.
